As the visionary founder of Diamond Speaks LLC, she brings a touch of brilliance to the realm of customized training and consultation services. Her expertise spans diverse domains, from mental health and anti-racism to interpreter-related issues and empowerment initiatives.

DeAnna's commitment to creating positive change is evident in her pivotal role as a senior program member of the Accessing Safety Initiative, which she then transferred to the Deaf Action Team for Activating Change. Before this, she blazed trails by establishing BRIDGES, the pioneering Deaf-led program in Georgia.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, DeAnna has received accolades, such as the prestigious Gender Justice Award from the GA Commission on Family Violence and Collaborate awards from the GA Coalition Against Domestic Violence in 2018. In 2020, she was honored with a distinguished Deaf Community Leader position at Hamilton Relay. In 2024, she and her husband, Thomas Swope Jr., were awarded the Bell Flasher for the best presentation from the ADARA conference.
