Following a pivotal incident at Linguabee that highlighted the urgent need for greater racial awareness and unpacking, Deanna Swope was hired to assist in assessing the blocks we laid that led us to that place. Her work has been fundamental in guiding our company toward recognizing and addressing the underlying systemic issues that influenced our prior missteps. Through skilled facilitation, Deanna created a safe, yet challenging environment for our team of both BIPOC and white employees to openly unpack personal biases and the embedded racism within our corporate practices.
